A Practical Trailer for Lighter Equipment
This 10×5 model is intended for equipment and materials that remain within the trailer’s legal loaded rating.
Depending on the finished trailer tare and equipment dimensions, suitable applications may include:
- compact maintenance equipment
- lightweight landscaping machinery
- worksite tools and attachments
- generators and site equipment
- property-maintenance gear
- trade equipment and supplies
Equipment suitability must be determined by weight as well as dimensions. A machine may physically fit within the trailer but still exceed its available payload.
For a wider selection of equipment-transport configurations, browse Plant Trailers.
Confirm the Available Payload Before Ordering
The stated 750kg GVM does not mean the trailer can carry a 750kg machine. The weight of the completed trailer must be considered when determining how much equipment can legally be carried.
Before selecting this trailer, confirm:
- the equipment’s operating weight
- the weight of attachments, tools and fuel
- the finished trailer tare
- the resulting available payload
- the equipment’s overall dimensions
- the towing vehicle and towbar ratings
- the required load-restraint arrangement
Provide Roshar Trailers with the equipment make, model, weight and dimensions when requesting a quote. This allows the team to determine whether the standard product is suitable or whether a higher-rated configuration is required.
10×5 Plant Trailer vs 10×5 Tandem Trailer
These trailers share the same nominal size but serve different search and buying intentions.
10×5 Plant Trailer
This page is intended for buyers selecting a 10×5 configuration around lighter plant, worksite equipment and machinery-transport requirements.
10×5 Tandem Trailer
The 10×5 Tandem Trailer is a broader general-transport model with tandem axle support and a higher published GVM. It may be more suitable for heavier materials, equipment or regular commercial loads.
Keeping these purposes clearly separated helps customers choose the appropriate model and prevents the two product pages from competing for the same keywords.
When to Choose a Specialised Machinery Trailer
The standard 750kg model should not be selected for heavy machinery based only on its 10×5 dimensions.
Consider a specialised option when transporting:
- mini loaders
- skid steers
- excavators
- heavier compact machinery
- equipment requiring a higher-rated loading system
- machinery exceeding the standard trailer’s available payload
Relevant options include:
- Mini Loader Trailers
- Skid Steer Trailers
- Excavator Trailers
- Machinery Trailers
- Machinery or Plant Trailers
Heavy-Duty Standard Construction
The trailer is built around a heavy-duty chassis and reinforced 75×50 drawbar. Its 2.1mm chequer plate floor provides a durable working surface, while the hot rolled or chequer plate side panels help contain tools and equipment.
Straight side tie rails provide accessible load-restraint locations. The standard construction also includes slipper suspension, a solid axle with A-type hubs, double folded guards, a lockable coupling, LED lights and twin ADR-approved safety chains.

Additional Carrying Area
The longer platform provides more room for equipment with extended handles, attachments or associated worksite tools.
Accessible Open Body
The open configuration allows clear access when positioning equipment and securing the load.
External Tie Rails
Straight tie rails across the sides provide accessible locations for appropriate load-restraint equipment.
Manageable Standard Rating
The standard 750kg model may suit customers transporting lighter equipment who do not require the greater capacity of a larger tandem or machinery trailer.
